About Good Karma Squeakers

Our Story

We fell in love with squeaky shoes during the adoption process of our Chinese daughter, Makena. When we traveled to China to meet her, one of our first purchases was several pairs of squeaky shoes as they were not readily available in the US.

When Makena was "out and about" with her squeakers, people smiled, looked with amazement, and said "How cute”! The next question always was… “Where did you get those shoes?”

Good Karma Squeakers was founded in 2008 to provide a source of high quality shoes, and to "give back" by donating a portion of our proceeds to Half the Sky Foundation, Half the Sky Foundation supporting children in China.
